LoreKeeper 1.13: Claude and ChatGPT Connections, Longer Videos and More Pictures

LoreKeeper 1.13 is out, with two big changes. You can now bring your worlds into Claude and ChatGPT, and the image and video tools are far more generous.

The generator work started with a request from a game master who wanted two of their characters in the same video, and who kept running out of room to describe the scene. So we added more pictures, longer clips and much bigger prompts.

Your world in Claude and ChatGPT

You can now connect LoreKeeper to Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, they can search your lore, read your documents and look up your characters and their pictures while you chat. Ask Claude to recap last session from your notes, or ask ChatGPT what a character would say to the king, and the answer comes from your own canon instead of a guess.

Switch on pictures for a connection and they can make new character and world pictures too. Pictures use your LoreKeeper credits, at the same price as in the app.

Any LoreKeeper account can connect, free accounts included. Open the account menu in LoreKeeper and choose Connections, pick Claude or ChatGPT and follow the steps: copy your LoreKeeper link, add it as a connector, then sign in and allow access.

Several characters in one video or image

Create Video, Cutscene 2 and Create Image now take up to six pictures. Add your characters, a place or a prop, and each picture gets a name: @Image1, @Image2 and so on. Use those names in your prompt to say who does what:

“@Image1 draws her sword as @Image2 steps out of the shadows of @Image3.”

The pictures keep your characters recognisable, so the knight in your cutscene still looks like the knight on your character sheet.

Videos up to 30 seconds, with sound

Seedance 2.5 is now the main video model in Create Video and Cutscene 2. Clips run from 4 to 30 seconds, come with sound made for the scene, and render at 480p, 720p or 1080p. You see the price before you start. It depends on the length and the resolution, so a quick 480p test costs far less than a 1080p final cut.

Kling 3.0 is still there for clips of up to 12 seconds. We have removed Seedance 1.5 from the video tools, because the newer models do everything it did, and better.

Prompts up to 4,000 characters

Image and video prompts can now be up to 4,000 characters, about 600 words. That is room for a whole scene: who is there, what they wear, the light, the weather and how the camera moves. A few models still take less, such as Kling 3.0 (2,500) and Recraft (1,000), so every prompt box shows a live count and the limit for the model you picked.

Lore Assist and Enhance write longer, richer prompts to match, and Enhance keeps your @Image names in place. Characters get the same room: the Generate Image dialog and the Master Visual Prompt take 4,000 characters too.

Leave the page while a video renders

A long video can take several minutes. Videos now render in the background, so you can open another tool, check your lore or close the tab. The finished clip is saved to your Media Library. Come back to Create Video or Cutscene 2 and you will see its progress. You can have up to three renders going at once.

A smoother Cutscene 2

  • 15 seconds to start with. Long enough for a proper moment, and you can change it before you forge.
  • Direct it, right under your moment. The Director turns what you wrote into a cinematic prompt, framed shot by shot and drawn from your lore. Its button now sits just below the moment box.
  • A check before you forge. If you forge without directing, Cutscene 2 asks whether to direct it first or forge it as written.

Cutscene 2 is now the cutscene tool. The original storyboard tool is hidden from the menu, not deleted.

Also in 1.13

  • Create Image, Create Video and Cutscene 2 now fit a phone screen, with nothing cut off at the edge.
  • A clearer pricing page that shows what each plan includes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my LoreKeeper world in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, with any LoreKeeper account, free included. Open Connections from the account menu and follow the steps for Claude or ChatGPT. Once connected, they can search your lore, read your documents and look up your characters and their pictures. Making new pictures is switched on for each connection and uses your credits.

How long can a LoreKeeper video be?

Up to 30 seconds with Seedance 2.5 in Create Video and Cutscene 2, at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with sound. Kling 3.0 makes clips of up to 12 seconds.

Can I put two characters in one video?

Yes. Add up to six pictures in Create Video, Cutscene 2 or Create Image. Each one gets a name, @Image1, @Image2 and so on, which you use in your prompt to say who does what.

How long can my prompt be?

Up to 4,000 characters for most image and video models. A few take less, such as Kling 3.0 (2,500) and Recraft (1,000). The prompt box shows a live count and the limit for the model you picked.

Do I have to keep the page open while a video renders?

No. Videos render in the background. Open another tool or close the tab, and the finished clip is saved to your Media Library. Come back to the tool to see its progress. You can run up to three at once.

What happens if the video model refuses my prompt?

You are not charged. Video models refuse some prompts, for example ones that name famous film characters. Describe your own characters instead, or add their pictures.

Where is the old Cutscene tool?

Cutscene 2 replaces it. The original storyboard tool is hidden from the menu, not deleted.
